At MAE, discipleship is the heartbeat of our mission. Many of the youth we serve are first-generation Christians, navigating the challenging path of breaking free from generational cycles of abuse, violence, and poverty. They are in desperate need of someone to come alongside them.
In response, we've established weekly discipleship groups and a one-on-one discipleship program, fostering deep connections and providing consistent teaching, guidance, and encouragement. Through the transformative power of discipleship, we aim to empower these young lives, helping them overcome obstacles, discover their identity in Christ, and break free from the chains that once bound them.
Together, we're building a foundation of faith that lasts a lifetime.
Our discipleship program has already made significant strides, with approximately 90% of our youth actively participating in either weekly discipleship groups, one-on-one discipleship, or both. The transformative impact is evident as these young lives overcome obstacles and discover their identity in Christ. However, the work is ongoing. Many more youth yearn for this essential support to break free from generational cycles of abuse, violence, and poverty. With your support, we can expand our discipleship reach, ensuring more lives are transformed and that no youth navigates their journey alone.
